Yesterday my baby boy turned 8.

What I did with my memorial day weekend...

It's been a while since I've had a chance to 'steal' our nephew and follow him around with my lens. Since his 1st birthday was just two weeks away, I wanted to do the end of his first year justice. A stolen hat, determined dandelions, digging in the dirt and a dip in the pool - it was a great relaxing weekend and a lot of fun for all of us!

This is my brother playing the guitar, but it fascinates me.

Angela & Eric had a sweet intimate picture perfect ceremony at the Atkinson Country Club with their family (and a cameo appearance from their adorable dog!) Their details were wonderful and unique - a ceremonial cake handmade in Canada out of soap, in their wedding colors, that Angela & her nieces hand cut and put in favor bags during dinner, beautiful and tasty cupcakes and gelato ice cream cake that was to die for. We had a wonderful time walking the grounds and taking our time with capturing the delicate moments of their amazing day.

Eric and I are very pleased with the pictures! Some of them are breathtaking! You made us look like models (and that aint easy to do!) You definitely captured the day and we can't thank you enough :)

It's a great feeling to have such a wonderful selection of proofs to play around with! We couldn't have asked for a better day. It was perfect and many thanks for keeping that day alive through your/our pictures!

Rebecca & Dennis 04.19.2008

Finally, it was Rebecca & Dennis' big day. After meeting with them the prior month for a quick engagement/get to know you session, I arrived back at the church to join them on their big day. Rebecca was calm cool and collected and so so excited about all of her details. A beautiful ceremony and a fun filled reception all fell beautifully into place. Thank you Rebecca & Dennis for having me at your wedding!

Dennis and I absolutely LOVE the wedding photos, you are soooo talented....So obviously I'm having a tough time picking out pix, because I want them all!
