Katie & Jed Engaged! 11.02.08

I met Katie & Jed at Kate & Marcus' wedding. Katie was in Kate's bridal party and I was SO excited when she asked me to photographer her wedding in December 09.  We met in Portsmouth on a frigid day to take some engagement portraits.  They were total troopers and we had a great time!  Katie found this amazing red coat - it was a hit!

Jed is such a sweet heart, and a total character.  His 'reaction' to her ring!

Then they indulged me and played beside traffic under the bridge.  I think it was worth it -

Ronna & Joe 08.23.08

Ronna & Joe had an outdoor ceremony in Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH.  The weather could not have been more perfect!

Ronna & Joe decided to do their portraits before the ceremony so we took the limo over the the gardens and stole the show.  One girl came over and asked Ronna if she could take a picture of her hair because she was getting married soon and it was exactly how she wanted hers!

Then it was time for the ceremony.  With all the confidence in the world, they made their way down the walkway.

And then - they were married! 

A few quick just married shots and we were off to the reception!

Larissa & Todd's Engagement Picutres

Larissa & Todd booked their April '08 wedding with me a while ago - but Todd was deployed and they are based out of Virginia so meeting up wasn't an easy task. They came home for the Thanksgiving holiday and I met up with them at their hotel, unawares of how daring they are!

After causing a ruckus in the lobby, and the ladies room, we took off to reek havoc on downtown Portsmouth. Climbing fire escapes, playing paparazzi in Starbucks, hijacking a dingy and more - we had an absolute blast. I can't wait to see them again in April!

Kate & Marcus' Engagement Shoot

Kate & Marcus are a relaxed, fun loving couple and are so excited about being in love it just radiates from them. I had a wonderful time with them in Prescott Park in Portsmouth, NH a few weekends ago. Kate had really hoped to find some wonderful foliage for a back drop but try as we might, the trees in town had just not quite turned yet. We managed to find a peaceful hill with a few colorful leaves and the two of them basked in the sunlight.
